Process

Whether you are facing new construction or renovation, the process is always more complex than imagined. Our goal at Details International is to make that process less intimidating and more positive. We try to eliminate surprises altogether.

There are five major phases to every project:


1. Discovery — where we get to know each other

  • 1st consult is a free half hour session

2. Design — the creative development

  • A design contract will be signed for a specific amount of time, with an upfront fee
  • The design process is very interactive to make sure we’re in agreement
  • This phase ends with an estimate for the entire project

3. Ordering — scheduling materials required to complete the project

  • Scheduling what materials will arrive and when
  • Scheduling payments for those materials

4. Construction — executing the design

  • Scheduling the trades
  • Coordinating the project
  • Reporting step by step to the client
  • Scheduling walk-throughs and other client approval steps

5. Celebration — reviewing the completed project
